It wasn't quite as good as the
May Derby but there were a decent amount of fish caught. I hooked the
first fish of the day and it looked like at least 15 lbs but it got
off the hook. I caught only one fish but it was the biggest of the
day at 17 lbs 2 oz's.
Dwight Stevens (Todd "Leg
Cramp" Stevens' dad) from Fair Oaks easily took first place with
a total weight of 57 lbs 2 oz's. Dwight really had everything going
his way. He also caught a 4 lb 4oz largemouth bass with his carp rod
baited with Del Monte canned corn.
I'm sorry I didn't take many
photos but Todd Stevens (Leg Cramp) took a few which he's promised to
email me on Monday or Tuesday. I'll post them on this page as soon as
I receive them.....................Ed
